A CLOSER LOOKEvery Monday we highlight the best drop from the previous week
The Nike Air Max 98 model received a mixed reception in 1998, as it reminded many sneaker fans too much of the previous model, the Air Max 97. The model became a synonym as an outlet sneaker for many Americans. The sneaker was designed by legend Sergio Lozano, had a starting struggle as Nike decided to release a number of popular models the same year, such as the Air Max 98 TL, the Air Max Plus and the classic Air Max 120. That's why this outstanding Air Max model was forgotten too many. However, the Air Max 98 model has over the last couple of years recieved the honor it deserves. That became evident when the model was re-released in 2014 and with the latest Nike Air Max 98 X Supreme release that was hyped and quickly deadstocked.
